1.        Sale Orders

1.1       Request Changes to Sale Orders
Because most of our products are custom made, depending on the duration from the change request made and the day of order placed, Moda Living will in its efforts try to accommodate the change request. Do note that if a change request is possible, additional charges may be imposed. Customers will need to contact Moda Living by phone or email for any change request.

1.2       Cancellation of Sales Order
Once a sales order is placed, raw materials will be procured based on custom made requirements. Thus, no cancellation of sales order will be accepted.

2.        Delivery Terms

2.1       Local Delivery Only
Moda Living currently delivers only to any street address in Singapore. We do not provide shipping to any other country outside Singapore. Designated delivery address will be that of the customer stated address upon checkout.

2.2       Delivery Timing
Our Standard Delivery timing is Mondays to Saturdays, between 9.30am –7pm.

2.4       Assembly Services
Moda Living provide assembly services free of chargeunless clearly stated assembly service not included in which case assembly charges of $50 is applicable. Any assembly charges applicable will be duly indicated under Delivery Info segment of product page.

2.5       EstimatedDelivery Duration
Moda Living will usually consolidate your items in one single order and ship them together. When estimating delivery duration, it is best to take the item with the longest Estimated Arrival and use that to calculate delivery duration for your order. Estimated Delivery /Arrival Date will be clearly indicated on each product page. Do note that for items with more custom made requests, an extended waiting period maybe required because of procurement of custom materials or parts.

2.6       Delivery to Location

2.6.1     Moda Living will deliver your order into your home and place them in the location of your choice. We will also assemble the furniture (if applicable), and remove all packaging materials from your premises.

2.6.2     Moda Living will inform our customers 2 days in advance of upcoming delivery. Please ensure that there is someone at location to receive the delivery on the pre-agreed date and time, and that the delivery path and premise are free of obstacles, including any existing furniture items.

2.6.3     In the event that your order cannot be delivered due to you not being contactable to schedule a delivery, your order will be held for a maximum of 30 Days from the date of first attempted failed delivery. If there is no response within this month, your order will be cancelled without refunds.

2.7       Holding of Order
With prior notice given by customer, Moda Livingwill be able to hold your order for a maximum of 3 Months from the earliest date that your order can be delivered from our warehouse.

2.8       Disposal
Moda Living does not provide any disposal service.

3.        Return Policy

3.1       If your delivered item has defects or you received the incorrect item, we will arrange for a prompt collection and your item will be sent to our factory for rectification or rework. Do note that an extended waiting period is required for redelivery.

3.2       Do note that for items delivered, thereafter no cancellation of sale or refund will be accepted.This is because majority of our products are custom made as per customer requirements and not standard inventory.

4.       Price Protection

If you find that the item(s) you bought is being offered by another retailer at a lower pricethan the purchased price you paid for to Moda Living,within 14 days (from the date of purchase)you may email us with proof of cheaper price offered and we will refund you the price difference between what you paid to Moda Living and the lower price offered by the retailer.

5.        Product Warranty

5.1       All our products comes with warranty. As far as the duration of product warranty, different category of products will have different warranty periods. Product warranty details for each item can be found on each specific product page. In general, our product warranty can be categorised  as follows:

  • Body Structure / hardware mechanism – 5 years warranty
  • Handwork like Fabric/leather Stitching – 2 years warranty
  • Material like furniture fabric or leather – 1 year warranty

5.2       Warranties on furniture products sold by Moda Living do not require registration. Your delivery invoice serves as proof of purchase for these items.

5.3       Our product warranty does not cover usual wear and tear, cuts or scratches, or damage from impacts or accidents.
